Military officials said this morning that they were fighting a 75-acre fire in Fort Carson’s Training Area 30 that began Tuesday.
The Fort Carson Public Affairs Office said that the fire is zero percent contained.
There were 70 firefighters on the scene, including crews from Fort Carson, the Colorado Springs Fire Department, Rio Grande and San Isabel National Forest.
No evacuations have been ordered, and there is currently no danger to structures.
