RAMAH, Colo.—Meteorologists say a weak tornado touched down briefly in southeast Colorado.
National Weather Service spokesman James Hall says the tornado was spotted at 4:18 p.m. Wednesday south of Ramah, about 115 miles from Denver. Hall says there were reports the tornado was on the ground for as long as five minutes, while another report had the tornado lasting just two minutes.
Hall says there were no reports of damage or injuries. He says the tornado happened in an open field.
Meteorologists issued tornado warnings until 6 p.m. Wednesday for northeastern Crowley County and southeastern Kiowa County, both in southeast Colorado.
