Eastbound Interstate 70 is closed at Garrison Street in Wheat Ridge as crews clean up a spill from a semi-tractor trailer accident.
Afternoon rush-hour commuters are urged to avoid the area during the cleanup.
The accident happened at 1:50 p.m. The trailer spilled its load of road-construction material on the roadway, which closed all four eastbound lanes, Wheat Ridge police said.
