WASHINGTON — InBev NV received a request for additional information from the U.S. antitrust regulator regarding its $52 billion purchase of Anheuser-Busch Cos.
The request from the U.S. Department of Justice, filed under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act, “is a normal and expected part of the regulatory process,” the Belgian brewer of Stella Artois lager and Bass said Monday.
