Quiznos, the Denver-based sandwich chain, says its president will also become chief executive officer of the company.
Quiznos announced Monday it had appointed president Dave Deno to the post.
He will succeed Greg Brenneman, who was appointed executive chairman of the board.
Deno will take over Sept. 30. He will retain the title of president.
Meantime, Quiznos says it has completed two deals to open 175 restaurants in Brazil and 100 restaurants in India over the next 10 years. Another agreement in India is in negotiations, while discussions are under way to open locations in Chile, Ecuador and Singapore.
The 27-year-old company has more than 5,000 restaurants in the United States, Canada, Central America, Korea, the Middle East and the United Kingdom.
