CH2M Hill, a Douglas County- based engineering and construction firm, grabbed the No. 1 spot on the Inc. 5000 list of privately held companies by revenue, released Wednesday.
CH2M Hill, with revenues of $5.8 billion last year, had a three-year growth rate of 85.2 percent. In 2004, CH2M Hill had revenue of $3.1 billion.
CoBank, a Denver-based cooperative bank serving agribusinesses and rural utilities, ranked No. 5 on the same list, with revenues last year of $2.8 billion and a growth rate of 141.4 percent.
