The rooms are: beautifully decorated, but not overdone. We stayed in a boutique room, upgraded for our honeymoon. The room was a dream, complete with a gas fireplace, large, flat-screen TV and beautiful drapery over the large, comfortable bed.
They put all of the money into: the boutique rooms and suite, with luxurious bedding and furniture.
The bottom line: There are plenty of places to stay in this touristy town. We opted for a place a little off the beaten path for the final destination on our 4,000-mile, road-trip honeymoon. The staff was incredibly sweet, giving us the “best room in the hotel.” It was romantic but affordable and placed us just close enough to the action in town while keeping us from the hustle and bustle of the waterfront.
