The biggest cheerleader for the Waipahu, Hawaii, team at the Little League World Series might be in the Philadelphia Phillies’ clubhouse. Phillies outfielder Shane Victorino, who is from Hawaii, has become a huge fan of the squad that has reached Saturday’s U.S. finals. Teammate Ryan Howard said Little League games are on clubhouse television all the time. “When Hawaii is on, Shane won’t be quiet,” Howard said during a visit to the World Series in South Williamsport, Pa., this week. “He’s bouncing off the walls.” The speedy Victorino’s nickname is the “Flyin’ Hawaiian.” The Associated Press
