WYNKOOP BREWING CO.: Named Andy Brown the new head brewer for the company. Brown served as the head brewer for Left Hand Brewing Co. from 2003 to 2007 and was recently a brewer for Oskar Blues Brewery.

THE WOMEN’S VISION FOUNDATION: Announced that Holland & Hart partner Anne Castle received the “Woman of Vision” award, which honors a woman who has demonstrated positive, enlightened leadership at her company and actively promoted the advancement of women.

THE BRECKENRIDGE RESORT CHAMBER: Appointed John McMahon as the new executive director.

HOLME ROBERTS & OWEN LLP: Named Jody L. Kepler an associate in the Denver office in the health-care practice group.

COLORADO SPRINGS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORP.: Appointed Scott Bryan, president and chief executive of Bryan Construction Inc., as chairman for 2008-09. Other new board members are Bill Berenz, regional president, American National Bank; Scott Blackmun, partner, Holme Roberts & Owen LLP; Mike Faricy, president of the Faricy Boys Chrysler Jeep; Kevin Patterson, broker owner of the Patterson Group; George Swintz, vice president, asset management at Corporate Office Properties Trust; and Bill Hodgkins, senior executive — Colorado region and director of field marketing for the Boeing Co.

KIPP DENVER: Recently hired Mandy Hughes as director of development and external affairs. The school also elected Bruce Siegel of North Highland and Roland Lyon of Kaiser Permanente to its board of directors.

MID-CONTINENT RESEARCH FOR EDUCATION AND LEARNING: Announced the addition of Mel Sussman, former principal of North Valley Middle School in LaSalle, and Kay Frunzi, former principal of the Wyatt-Edison Charter School in Denver, to provide professional development to school leaders.
