Three adults were killed when their Cessna crashed short of Yuma Municipal Airport runway in heavy fog this morning.
The names of those killed are not being released while authorities contact next of kin.
The plane crashed at 8:25 a.m., said Sgt. Matthew Hardesty of the Yuma County Sheriff’s office.
The small plane was enroute to the airport from Pueblo, he said. Yuma is about 140 miles east of Denver.
