VAIL, Colo.—Westbound Interstate 70 over Vail Pass has reopened after a 5 1/2-hour shutdown due to an accident.
Traffic was diverted onto a frontage road after westbound lanes were closed around 4:30 a.m. Monday.
Vail police didn’t immediately release details of the accident.
