Several dozen veterans of the Iraq War have begun an unpermitted march from Cuernavaca Park to Civic Center in front of the state Capitol.
The group, aided by 50 or so volunteers in white t-shirts portraying Iraqi civilians, is planning to conduct some street theater along the way to show people what it is like to serve in Iraq.
The march began about 11 a.m. Though they have no permit, police have agreed to let them proceed, so long as they do not block traffic.
