Molson Coors Brewing Co. has produced a limited edition beer featuring the DNC Host Committee logo and a welcoming message to convention attendees.
Only 150 of the 34-ounce bottles of New West Amber Ale were produced. Recipients of the brew include Gov. Bill Ritter, Mayor John Hickenlooper, DNC VIPs and Molson Coors’ business partners.
The beer was made at the Blue Moon Brewing Co. at the Coors Field Sandlot.
Its brewmaster describes it as being brewed with two-row pale malt and imported English Crystal malt and bittered with Taurus and Hallertauer hops, made “to be enjoyed by anyone lucky enough to obtain a bottle.”
