FORT COLLINS — A Fort Collins man has been granted permission to move to the Dallas area until he stands trial in a stabbing death.
Larimer County Judge Jolene Blair signed an order last week allowing Adrian Allen to live with his father, Kenneth Allen, in Texas until trial.
The judge says the individual who posts Allen’s $300,000 bond must agree to the living arrangements and Texas officials must agree to monitor Allen’s movements.
Allen is charged in the Aug. 5, 2007, stabbing death of Joey Martell during a confrontation in Allen’s apartment in Fort Collins.
His attorneys say Allen killed Martell in self-defense. The next court hearing is Sept. 12.
