GRAND JUNCTION — A 31-year-old Grand Junction woman has been arrested on allegations she had sex with a 14-year-old boy.
The woman, Theresa Lynn Millon, became pregnant and had an abortion in June, the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel reported.
A caseworker from the Mesa County Department of Human Services alerted authorities to the case in mid-May.
The Sentinel obtained an arrest warrant affidavit for Millon that said she allegedly had sex with the boy about four or five times in February.
The newspaper quoted Millon from the affidavit as saying she at first told the boy they couldn’t have sex but agreed after the boy told her the women he had “been with” all were older.
Millon said “she knew it was wrong for her to have sex with (him)” and one night, “It just happened,” and they didn’t use a condom, the Sentinel quoted the affidavit.
The boy told police he thought the two had sex only once “because it felt weird,” the affidavit said.
Millon found out she was pregnant about a month later.
She thought the boy was the baby’s father, the Sentinel quoted the affidavit as saying, and had an abortion the beginning of June.
