PUEBLO, Colo.—Nearly 490,000 people attended the 11-day Colorado State Fair this year, up slightly from last year.
Fair officials say 486,659 attended the fair that began Aug. 22 and ended Labor Day. That is 1,621 more than last year.
The State Fair says a financial review of the event should be available by the end of October.
The junior livestock sale at the fair raised more than $393,200 for Colorado’s 4-H and FFA youth.
The fair also included musical acts including Sugarland, which played to a sold-out crowd of 7,816 people.
