A Boulder man broke his pelvis and several ribs this evening when he pedaled his bicycle through a red light, police said.
The man’s name was not released. He is recovering at Boulder Community Hospital.
A woman hit the bicyclist at Arapahoe Road and Foothills Parkway about 6:15 p.m., according to Boulder police.
She was not cited in the collision, as witnesses said the man ignored or failed to see the red light before he rode into traffic, said Officer Gary Stevens.
