A public funeral service for Adams County prosecutor Sean May will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Buell Theatre, 950 13th St. in Denver, said Krista Flannigan, a spokeswoman with the Adams County district attorney.
May, 37, was shot in the head and abdomen last week outside his northwest Denver home.
Denver police have released no new information on the investigation.
Witnesses reported seeing a man in his late teens or early 20s running from the scene of the shooting, in the 3300 block of West 36th Avenue.
May, who was with the Adams County district attorney’s office for seven years, is survived by his wife, Corin, who is six months pregnant with their first child.
