Westbound Interstate 70 was closed down Wednesday night after a head-on collison near the Vasquez Boulevard exit.
At about 11:15 pm., the highway was being shut down between Colorado Boulevard and Brighton Boulevard. It reopened around 2 a.m.
A car headed east in the westbound lanes collided with at least three oncoming cars.
As many as six people were being taken to hospitals, according to initial reports, and two people were critically injured.
