This is the Lowry community’s ninth annual free festival featuring live music, free food and drink for Lowry residents, and a spotlight this year on energy-saving products and solutions. The event will also include gas card giveaways, free weekend admission to the Wings Over the Rockies Museum, a Kids’ Zone with a bungee trampoline, swings and crafts, and a Dog Zone with treat and water stations. And it is the ideal time for anyone interested in living in Lowry to tour the neighborhood’s newest model homes. High-country magic

Located in Edwards, just a few miles west of the Vail and Beaver Creek ski resorts, Cordillera hosts its third annual Home & Garden Tour on Sunday. This year’s tour spotlights a mountain garden wonderland and five homes in The Ranch neighborhood, as well as the unveiling of the Mountain Living Natural Dream Home 2008. Antiques auction for a cause

Excelsior Youth Center is a residential treatment center for troubled girls. It also helps clients transition out of the program with such programs as the Aftercare Project, which aids in independent survival. These programs rely on private donations and fundraisers, which is why Excelsior will host a live antiques auction on Sunday with collectibles, framed art and home furnishings.
