A cold front may make you wish for an extra jacket today.
With a high temperature of just 59 degrees and a mostly cloudy forecast, the sun won’t help relieve the chill, according to the National Weather Service.
There’s also a 20 percent chance of showers, and overnight lows could dip to 45.
But warmer temperatures are called for this weekend.
Saturday, with a high near 75, should be clear, but Sunday could bring a risk of thunderstorms after 3 p.m. with a high temperature near 74.
Monday’s forecast brings temperatures back down to the 60s, with a 20 percent chance of showers.
Whiplash for late-summer plantings notwithstanding, Tuesday and Wednesday could take us back above 80 degrees.
