Chase Daniel, Missouri: Playing a short night, Daniel, right, completed 14 consecutive passes and went 16-of-17 for 245 yards and three TDs before coming out midway through the second quarter of a rout against Southeast Missouri State.

Tim Tebow, Florida: Feeling constant pressure all night from the Miami defense, Tebow was scrambling and forced to throw off-balance. He finished 21-of-35 passing for 256 yards and two TDs and ran 13 times for 55 yards in the 26-3 win.

Pat White, West Virginia: The senior was stymied in Saturday’s upset loss to East Carolina. White was held to 97 yards rushing on 20 carries and just 72 yards passing (11-of-18). West Virginia plays at Colorado next, on Sept. 18.

Chris Wells, Ohio State: Injured his right foot a week ago in the Buckeyes’ season-opening win against Youngstown State and didn’t play Saturday in a 26-14 win against Ohio.
