The Adams County Sheriff’s Office has cancelled an Amber Alert issued earlier today for a missing 8-year-old Watkins girl.
Brandy May Tano was found safe this afternoon after being reported missing from her bedroom by her father before dawn today. The home is located in the 32800 block of Front Street.
Authorities believed Brandy had been abducted by her mother, Jackie Lee Hall, 43, a California resident who had recently visited the girl. Hall also has several outstanding warrants for her arrest.
Hall has been taken into custody.
Authorities cancelled the Amber Alert about 1:20 p.m.
No other details were immediately available.
