Maintenance work to phone lines at the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office will disrupt routine service for about three hours tomorrow evening.
The non-emergency phone lines will be down from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Wednesday, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
The 911 system will not be affected.
The general information number, 303-441-4444, will not work, so citizens are asked to wait until after 10 p.m. if they can.
A substitute number, 303-442-3458, will work during the outage, but it is expected to be overwhelmed and callers should expect busy signals.
