WHEAT RIDGE — A man suspected of robbing at least six banks in the Denver metro area is being sought by the the FBI and area police.
The robber struck the Burlington Railroad Credit Union, 3835 Newland St., about 2 p.m. Tuesday.
The serial robber, nicknamed “Bank Robber Bob” by investigators, enters a bank and gives a robbery demand note to a teller, said FBI Denver Division spokeswoman Kathy Wright.
The robber is described as white, 45 to 55 years old and about 5 feet 8 inches tall with an average build.
