The Colorado Wildlife Commission will discuss draft items such as possession of whitefish in the upper Yampa River, turkey hunting regulations and testimony on the five-year big game season structure at its Thursday meeting at the Sheraton Steamboat resort. The public meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m.
Total Outdoorsman redux.
Hinkley High School principal Peter Mosby again will participate in Field & Stream magazine’s Total Outdoorsman Challenge, Friday through Sunday in Springfield, Mo. Mosby, 41, finished ninth among 16 finalists in 2007. This year, 30 entrants compete in seven hunting and fishing events.
