AIR FORCE ACADEMY — Hurricane Ike forced Air Force’s football game against Houston on Saturday to move to Southern Methodist University in Dallas, school officials announced today.
The Falcons were scheduled to play at Houston at 1:30 p.m. MT Saturday, but with Hurricane Ike expected to make landfall somewhere along the Texas coast early Saturday morning, Cougars officials decided to move the game.
It will be at SMU in Dallas and likely at the same time.
Also because of the storm, TCU’s home game Saturday in Fort Worth against Stanford has been changed from 6 p.m. central time to noon at Amon G. Carter Stadium.
