The Colorado Symphony Orchestra is anticipating a busy season with its eclectic mix of classical and pop productions. On Tuesday the CSO announced its second wave of single tickets, including its first-ever holiday concert packages, with Grammy-winning conductor Richard Kaufmann and guest Gavin MacLeod, among others. Pops concerts also include evenings with Chris Botti, Tito Puente Jr. and the Smothers Brothers. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. today. (Various prices, )

“The Drowsy Chaperone” brings its Tony award-winning musical comedy to the Buell Theatre Oct. 14-26. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Sunday. ($25-$95, )

“Experience Hendrix” is banking on our fuzzy memories of that guitar god to support its cross-country tribute tour, which features tunes performed by guitarists Hubert Sumlin, Eric Gales, Mato Nanje and Chris Layton, as well as former Hendrix sidemen drummer Mitch Mitchell and bassist Billy Cox. Matisyahu has been demonstrating the unlikely kinship between orthodox Judaism and classic reggae/hip-hop since his debut in 2004. He hits the Ogden Theatre on Nov. 29 and Boulder’s Fox Theatre on Nov. 30 with rapper K’naan. Tickets for both are on sale today. ($25; Ticketmaster or )
