ROBERT WOOD JOHNSON FOUNDATION: Honored Teresa J. Sakraida, an assistant professor in the University of Colorado Denver College of Nursing, as one of 15 junior faculty nationwide to receive an inaugural Nurse Faculty Scholar award. Sakraida will use the three- year, $350,000 grant to support her research on patients with Type 2 diabetes and Stage 3 chronic kidney disease.

MANAGED HEALTHCARE EXECUTIVE: The trade publication named Dr. Emad Rizk, president of McKesson Health Solutions, as one of the nation’s top leaders in disease management.

GE JOHNSON: Named Al Slattery to the firm’s business-development and marketing team.
