A man was shot to death Thursday night at a Sonic restaurant at 4305 Chambers Road, authorities say.
The shooting happened at 8:50 p.m. as a man drove toward the drive-through window, according to Detective Sharon Hahn, Denver police spokeswoman. Two men approached the victim’s window and at least one fired shots at him, Hahn said. The assailants got into a dark sport utility vehicle and sped away, she said.
The victim was driven to University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, where he was later pronounced dead, Hahn said. Police had not arrested any suspects as of Friday night, she said. Kirk Mitchell, The Denver Post
