Height: 6-feet-2.
Weight: 165 pounds.
Age: 17. Born: March 15, 1991.
High school sport: Golf (2005 Class 4A champion; sixth in 2006; third in 2007).
Grade-point average: 3.6.
Class: Senior.
My favorite subject: I’m a science guy.
My favorite athlete: Tiger Woods, of course. . . . He just works so hard and no one else can compare to that.
My favorite team: Avalanche. I played hockey for 10 years before I picked up golf.
What I listen to: Lil’ Wayne, Disturbed, Pepper . . . little rap, rock, some acoustic.
The best thing on my training table: Can never say no to Qdoba or pepperoni pizza.
Pregame ritual: Just kind of focus on doing something different and play to the way I’m feeling on that certain day.
Time management tip: Do as much work at school while you are there. If you get too tired you start to develop bad swing habits, so I try to focus on the simple things.
Planned career: Would like to play golf year-round. But realistically, real estate development or architectural design.
My family: Eric, Renee and brother Hunter.
I would love to visit: A black hole. . . . I want to know where those go.
What I like most about high school sports: The tournaments mean a lot and the coaches just want you to have fun. Everywhere else everybody just gets so wrapped up in the game and the fun gets lost.
What I like least about high school sports: I wish we had more two-day tournaments and some of the courses we play don’t seem to care too much about us.
