Crazy kids.
Crazy kids with their arms of fire and headstrong attitudes. Don’t they know that you have to run-run-run the ball to be successful in the NFL?
Say hello to the next wave of quarterbacks — Jay Cutler, Philip Rivers (Chargers) and Aaron Rodgers (Packers), who threw for a combined 1,055 yards, nine touchdowns and two two-point conversions.
How about 49ers quarterback J.T. O’Sullivan (321 yards, 1 TD) or Redskins’ QB Jason Campbell (321 yards, TD)? Both are probably available in most leagues if you’re looking for help in the post-Tom Brady era.
Into the old school? How about Kurt “get off my lawn” Warner, who slung it for 361 yards and three touchdowns?
What else did we learn in Week 2?
Running backs: Darren McFadden (Raiders) just became fantasy gold or is only trying to drive you nuts; Julius Jones (Seahawks) is capable of workhorse numbers; Matt Forte (Bears) and Chris Johnson (Titans) are worthy starters every week. Steve Slaton (Texans) and Ray Rice (Ravens) could join that list, so put them on your watch list if available for Week 3.
