DENVER HEALTH MEDICAL CENTER: Appointed Dr. Hugo Quiroz-Mercado as director of ophthalmology. Quiroz-Mercado is a specialist in diabetic retinopathy.

COLORADO TRIAL LAWYERS ASSOCIATION: Named insurance-recovery and bad-faith lawyer Michael Rosenberg, a shareholder in the Denver firm of Roberts Levin Rosenberg, to the board of directors. He also will chair the group’s bad-faith committee this year.
