The third quarter was bad for Denver, which managed only 10 total yards while its defense gave up 197 yards and 10 points.
Replay review:
The point of instant replay is to be able to actually review the play. The Broncos lucked out in the first quarter when San Diego wanted to review Champ Bailey’s interception and the monitor on the field was inoperable.
Special teams:
Denver’s kickoff coverage remains a big concern. It’s now two games in a row that Bailey has made a touchdown-saving tackle. The unit also gave up a 103-yard return for a TD.
