COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Colorado Springs police have arrested a man in connection with the stabbing death of a 23-year-old man.
Police arrested 31-year-old Clifford Maurice Huery on Friday on suspicion of first-degree murder in the death of Nicholas Murphy, who died during a fight outside his home Aug. 20.
Officers also took his girlfriend, 21-year-old Nicole Signoriello, into custody on a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant on suspicion of defrauding an innkeeper in a separate case.
Bail bondsman Bobby Brown, who said Heury is a former client, told The Gazette in Colorado Springs that Heury was once Murphy’s neighbor.
