1908: An automobile parade for Denver’s Inter-State Fair included that of Ruth Boettcher, whose locally made Fritchle One-Hundred Mile electric car was decorated with 1,200 pink roses.
1958: Denver’s Beth Joseph Congregation dedicated its synagogue complex, which occupies the block between East Eighth and Ninth avenues, and Ivanhoe and Holly Streets.
