Linebackers excel:
D.J. Williams and Nate Webster combined to make 21 solo tackles, 14 for Williams and seven for Webster. Each had a tackle for a loss, and Webster returned a fumble for a score.
Goal-line stand:
The defense made its most impressive stand of the season late in the first half when it stopped the Saints on three consecutive running plays from the 1-yard line. It kept the Saints from tying the score at 24.
Brandon Marshall:
His six receptions were off the pace he set a week ago when he caught 18, but against the Saints, Marshall did almost as much damage with 155 yards.
