A car thief stole the private car of a Denver sheriff’s deputy and snagged riot gear and uniforms that were in the back seat and trunk.
There were no weapons or identification in the 1993 white Oldsmobile Cutlass, Colorado license plate number 467PAR, said Wheat Ridge police Lt. Dave Pickett.
“The vehicle was stolen during the burglary of a home,” Pickett said.
It was stolen sometime between 11 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday morning in Wheat Ridge.
