BOULDER, Colo.—An autopsy is scheduled Monday on the body of a Boulder woman who died after being injured in a two-vehicle crash over the weekend.
Boulder County Coroner Thomas Faure (fohr) says 87-year-old Meta Faith Coleman was hurt in a crash that occurred about 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police say another motorist ran a red light and collided with Coleman’s vehicle. Boulder police spokeswoman Sarah Huntley says the crash forced Coleman to veer into a gas station’s parking lot.
She later died at Boulder Community Hospital.
Huntley says it’s unclear whether Coleman died from the accident, or from a medical condition caused by the crash.
The name of the 19-year-old woman driving the other vehicle has not been released.
