ADAMS COUNTY — About 4,000 mail- in ballot applications have been sent to the wrong people in Adams County, 9News reports.
“I’m very apologetic to the voters in Adams County,” said Karen Long, the county clerk and recorder.
Long says the mistake was made by a printing company hired to electronically address and partially fill out applications for registered voters who are not already receiving mail-in ballots.
The applications have one voter’s name printed on the front of the mailer and a different voter’s name, address and political affiliation on the actual application.
