Bend, don’t break:

The Broncos’ defense held the Chiefs to two field goals in the first quarter after the Chiefs drove to at least the 5-yard line.

The little people:

The Broncos’ smallest receivers had the biggest impact: Eddie Royal caught nine passes for 104 yards while Brandon Stokley was Jay Cutler’s go-to guy late, catching seven passes for 80 yards.

Just for kicks:

After missing his first field-goal attempt from 28 yards, Matt Prater made his next four, including FGs from 56 and 51 yards. His kicks of 22 and 33 yards in the fourth quarter were the Broncos’ only points of the second half.
