A man was arrested in Denver on Sunday morning in connection with what officials say is a mobile methamphetamine lab.

A restaurant in the 2600 block of West Alameda Avenue called police at 9:49 a.m., said Denver police spokesman Sonny Jackson.

Officers responded to South Federal Boulevard at West Gill Place. They found the male suspect, who has not been identified, on the street with chemicals on his person and in a backpack, Jackson said. A hazmat crew investigated. The Denver Post
