NEW YORK — Mayor Michael Bloomberg wants to overturn the city’s term-limits law and run for another four years in office next year.
A person who has been briefed by the mayor said Bloomberg will announce his intentions Thursday. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the announcement has yet to be made.
The mayor had long supported the term-limits law.
