ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, Colo.—The Larimer County coroner’s office says a Boulder man killed in skiing accident on Taylor Glacier in Rocky Mountain National Park died of multiple blunt force injuries.
Officials identified the man Thursday as 40-year-old Matthew Chesaux.
Friends found his body Wednesday morning. They had told park officials Tuesday night that he was overdue.
The coroner’s office says Chesaux was an experienced skier and mountain climber, and was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
Chesaux had been skiing alone.
