The Denver Outlaws announced the retirement of attackman Matt Hanna from Major League Lacrosse.
During his three seasons in the MLL, Hanna played in 24 games with the Outlaws, had 47 points and scored 36 goals. He also served as an assistant coach at Regis High School.
“I want to thank the Outlaws organization for everything they have done in the past three years. I will certainly miss my teammates and the great Outlaws fans,” Hanna said.
Captain Cullaton re-signs with Rage.
The Rocky Mountain Rage of the Central Hockey League re-signed team captain Brent Cullaton.
Last season, his first with the Rage, Cullaton had a career-high 92 points, the fourth-highest total in the CHL. His excellent season earned him a spot on the all-CHL team for the first time in his career, and he was a finalist for league MVP.
Willis to assist DU women’s lacrosse.
Colorado Academy graduate Devon Willis joined the University of Denver women’s lacrosse team’s coaching staff as a volunteer assistant.
Willis spent the past two years as the defensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator at Dartmouth, where she also played. She also competed for the U.S. national team and the 2008 Prague touring team.
