
Boulder Police this evening released a sketch of a man who punched a 56-year-old woman and grabbed a suitcase full of medical supplies she used in her work.
The assault and robbery happened before 7 a.m. in the 800 block of Circle Drive in Boulder, when two strangers approached the woman in her driveway, police said.
The woman, who sustained only minor injuries to her face, works in the medical profession and was leaving for work. The bag contained no narcotics or other drugs, police said.
One of the men was described as white, in his early 20s, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and about 165 pounds. He dark sideburns and wore dark clothes and a dark ball cap.
The second man was Hispanic, in his early 20s, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and about 145 pounds. He had a small hoop earring in both ears and wore dark clothing and a dark ball cap.
The stolen suitcase is a black, nylon carry-on Victorinox suitcase on wheels. It had an ID tag with the victim’s name and contact information on it.
