What’s at Stake:

The Rebels are seeking to end a 16-game conference road losing streak. They are also off to their best start since 2003 when they opened 4-1. Colorado State with a victory would extend it’s home winning streak to five and match its longest since Nov. 13, 2004 to Oct. 22, 2005.

Key Matchup:

The UNLV defense against QB Billy Farris. The Rams have allowed 11 sacks for 69 yards in losses. Colorado State’s defense has recovered seven fumbles and four interceptions.

Players to watch:

UNLV: Quarterback Omar Clayton. He has already thrown 12 touchdown passes, the most by a Rebel QB since 2003.

Colorado State: RB Gartrell Johnson. Johnson ran for 162 yards and two touchdowns in last year’s game. He has run for 300 yards and two TDs in four games this year.
