I’ve never once written a letter to an editor, let alone to a sports editor, but this time I felt compelled.
I moved from Ohio to Colorado 1980. I attended Kent State University. I found your papers comment that “CSNY were off by two. There are two dead in O-hi-o” extremely offensive and distasteful.
This is coming from a state that should know the seriousness and pain of such an event as I do with the shootings at Columbine. To be consistent, Monday should bring a column that starts something like this “Broncos kill like Klebold in K.C.”
I and anyone with half a wit await your apologies.
