ELIZABETH, Colo.—Denver Christian senior Michael Reitz shot a two-round total of 3-over-par 147 Tuesday to win the 3A state boys golf tournament at Spring Valley Golf Club.

In team results, Kent Denver took the title with a score of 487 despite only having one player finish in the top 10.

Reitz’s steady game was enough to hold off St. Mary’s Andrew Cornella, who finished second with 149. Taking third place was Min Kyu Jeon of Front Range Christian with 150.

The 3A team title for Kent Denver is the school’s third in a row, having won 4A titles the last two years.

Estes Park took second place, finishing with a 488 score, just one stroke away from Kent Denver. Finishing third was St. Mary’s at 491.
