Boulder police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men who robbed a resident in her driveway last week.
Police say the 56-year-old woman, who is not being identified, was loading her car at about 7 a.m. Thursday in the 800 block of Circle Drive in Boulder.
She works in the medical profession, police said in a news release, and was putting a suitcase full of medical supplies in her car on her way to work.
Two men walked up. One hit the woman in the face, police said, and they grabbed the suitcase and ran off. The woman wasn’t seriously injured.
The victim told police that one suspect was a white man in his early 20s, about 5-foot-8 and 165 pounds. He had dark-colored sideburns and was wearing dark clothing and a dark ball cap. She described the other suspect as a Latino man in his early 20s, about 5-foot-6 and 145 pounds. He also was wearing dark clothing and a dark ball cap. He wore small hoop earrings, one in each ear.
The suitcase is a black nylon, carry-on size Victorinox on wheels. It may have had brand markings similar to the red cross on the company’s Swiss Army knives.
There were no prescription drugs in the suitcase, and investigators think the men may have ditched it and most, if not all, of its contents.
